So I was looking at this shuttle preview image and notices the odd tokens (ringed in red).

What do people think they are? My guess is objective tokens for a new mission, but is it possible that they're used by an upgrade or ability included in the expansion?

I agree. Probably mission tokens. There's something similarly weird with the HWK.

But I'm just noticing…is that FOUR ion tokens?! That doesn't bode well for my rebels.

Imperial ship tokens for the escort or rendezvous scenario that comes with the shuttle.

I don't see anything strange with the hawk - It's got one ionization token, and one shield token - and number tokens - but I don't see any mission related tokens. If you're referring to the cards - it's probably rules for modifications and titles - since it's not going to be in a large ship box.

Anyone else notice that the base inserts in the picture of the TIE bomber expansion are the HWK-290's? Little photoshop error there.

A stash of extra Ion Tokens will be handy for the Y-Wings that only come with 1, and it helps to have 2 per ion cannon nowadays.
