..does this mean it could be available before July?

Some pre-order sites have it available June 25th.
I mean, anything can happen, but this "on the boat" status lasts for like 6-8 weeks or so, from what I've come to understand - but don't quote me on that because I don't know for sure.
I guess we could be lucky, but I'm in no rush, been waiting since beta-release, a few more weeks doesn't matter to me.
My experience with WFRP is 6 weeks on the boat, then 1 to ship to distributers. That would put us at the last week of June. I think their estimate of first week of July may be the real thing.

I'd imagine (or just like to hope) that a Big League game company like FFG accounted for travel time via boat when they said "first week of July." That's not to say there won't be an unexpected complications, but most forseeable issues were probably included in their projection for when the books would be hitting shelves.
So, in short, we're cool as long as the boat doesn't sink.

Or get taken by pirates!
Several thousand copies of the EotE core book in pirate hands?…I say we pay the ransom.
When I worked for a game company at the warehouse we once got a call that the container shipment was going to be delayed becasue it got damaged. Some of us were thinking it fell to the bottom of the ocean but they never we specific.
It arrived a few days late and we didn't notice any damage. More then likely the container got damaged and they needed to move the contents to a better one so it could fit on a truck
I guess it depends on where the printer is, US, China or Germany. anybody know?
