A few X-Wing players from the San Antonio area (including myself) will be visiting Comicpalooza in Houston on Saturday May 25 - Sunday May 26 to demo X-Wing. If you haven't played yet or much (or even if you're a regional champ and veritable Rogue Squadron leader) feel free to stop by and get in a game or two!

Great! I was thinking of going to Comicpalooza. I just picked up the game for my birthday and am super stoked to play. Depending on how my house closing goes, I may be there.

Do they allow/have space for open gaming? I didn't see X-wing listed in their gaming section.

We'll be running X-Wing demos from 4-8 on Saturday and from 12-4 on Sunday. There WILL be open gaming, so please feel free to bring by all of your X-Wing stuff (or other games that you want to play). Additionally, I think we'll be trying to run our demos thematically (so Han and Luke vs 4 TIE fighters attempting to escape the Death Star, etc.) We'd love to have as many people stop by as possible so please spread the word, and bring your X-Wing stuff if you have it. (Note, if you don't have any/much X-Wing stuff yet, don't worry! We'll have everything that we need to run 3 different demos!)

Barring unforseen circumstances, we (spouse and 5 y/o son) will attend Comicpalooza on Saturday. I guess we will skip Galticon since they want admission for a 5 year old! I doubt I will catch any games since I will have family in tow. My son does have his own core box set now along witha Falcon. If he is on his best bahavior, maybe we can come by during a demo.
