Hello!

I participated in the Regionals and I went 1-4. So I need to improve my fleet. I am trying to work on some ideas and scale back the toys. So with that in mind how does this fleet look?

A-wing Prototype pilot

Dutch Vander

Ion Cannon-28

X-Wing Rookie

Proton Torpedo-25

The A-wings go on the flank to attack, the assualt missle on a swarm. While Dutch gives a Target lock to the rookie for the torpedo.

Probably not the best fleet but I don't have a ton of minis so let's use this as the begining to work with and expand from this.

so what do you have in terms of minis? just what's shown above?

because right now your list lacks real firepower.. which is probably why you only went 1-4

dropping one of the A-wings for another X-wing would dramatically improve your list firepower and staying power

also i'd probably drop the proton torpedo from the X-wing.. unless you're using wedge, you'll be better off using the X-wings standard weapon

Maybe it's just because I play on a relatively small table, but I'm not a fan of missiles/torpedos, so with the same mini's I personally would go for:

Dutch + Ion Cannon
Tycho + PTL
Green Sq Pilot
Red Sq Pilot

If you have the Veteran Instincts upgrade card, I would spend the last point on that to raise Green Sq pilot to skill 5

My Tournie list was only a Y-wing and the Falcon. So much worse.

What I like about the missles is their ability to break up those TIE Swarms.

What I have available so far is:

-2 Y-Wings

-X-wing

-Millenium Falcon

-A-wing

-2 TIEs

-TIE Advanced

-TIE Interceptor

Lando with Dutch and Garven, they all pass stuff to each other and benefit from one another.. also pretty solid

your choice of upgrades if not that extensive with thse ships

you could perhaps use wedge+han+gold squad pilot/ion (maybe playing determination on both wedge+han?)

you could play han/chewiw/gunner/title+rookie x-wing/+gold squad pilot/ion

you could also play chewbacca/gunner/draw the fire + wedge + gold squad pilot/ion

I am debating if I want to make theA-wing have Carvel. This way Lando boosts the X-wing, and the A-wing launches into masses of TIEs with the assault Missle. Also I am debating about taking a Homing Missle and or Chewbacca.
