Yup, came out a few years ago. If I recall, Luke mentioned that he had to do a stand in as the main character in a reshoot of some scene.

I saw it a couple years ago when I was bored and wanted to watch something on Netflix. It's basically a giant ad campaign for one of their RPGs. It has a bunch of character types and lots of little scenes that do nothing for the story, but showcase the types of characters you can create in the RPG world.

And the ending is stupid and open-ended…as if to say, "Create your own ending by playing our Midnight RPG!"

Regarding the open ended ending, Netflix says it was a pilot for a TV show that never got picked up.
