Can you target the same objective with more than one attacker?

By Raistlinrox, in Star Wars: The Card Game - Rules Questions

Hi everyone, new player here…I sat and watched a game being played about a month ago and had my first game tonight, just using the Core Set Jedi vs. Imperial Navy. During the game I watched last month, I don't remember them having a restriction on attacking an objective more than once in a turn, but in the Rulebook, pg 18 it states "Each enemy objective may be engaged only once per conflict phase". Which makes sense, but the guys I watched play before didn't do that, but they seemed to know what they were doing. Plus, the card "The Ultimate Power" states that "your opponent cannot declare more than 2 attackers against this objective", which sounds like normally, you can have multiple attacks against an objective. So, which is it??

You can only engage an objective once per combat phase, but you can declare as many ready units as you want to attack in that engagement. Once all attackers and defenders are focused, the engagement ends and you are may start another engagement, with any ready units you may have left, but not at an objective that was already engaged this turn.

The Ultimate Power limits you to declaring only two attackers against it during its engagement. It is still only being engaged once per turn.

When units focus to do combat damage, it's called striking. This is different from attacking or being declared and attacker.

Thank you much for the clarification, guys.
