OR just drop the tie-fighters/swap upgrades altogther and go with…

if u dont have the right upgrades just play something u like :) for example replacing PTL on Turr with Veteren Instincts gives 3 pilots at 9 pilot skill allowing you to fire and boost (or barrel roll with vader or turr to get out of firing arcs in close combat exchanges, it takes practice but once u get good at it you should be a tough opponent to deal with for most squads).
