My old club ran a tournament today of all days, so had paid the entry fee and went along. It was a great day, even if the rebels had visited Kamino (we had 2 Luke Skywalkers (in different roles) and 2 Horton's in Y-Wings). We had 2 YT 1300's (not the Falcon) and numerous X -Wings and an A-Wing. The Empire had us swamped with TIE fighters. Right off the bat I had 3 TIEs and a Firespray all over me like a cheap suit. Dealt some serious crap out to the firespray, but managed to escape off the asteroid field of board 1 with all 3 ships intact. Onto the Death Star then, so that's where my luck began to run out. The Firespray entered behind me that had been chasing me down, and another and 2 TIEs already there. Managed to blow 2 of the DS's turrets away, and get 2 TIEs before all my ships went out. Stayed and watched for a while but once you're out it gets kinda boring when you have just also bought the game yourself. Good fun though and enjoyed every minute. Absolutely had to laugh at my luck when I fired at a turret with my YT1300 and got 2 blanks, re-rolls thanks to Luke's ability and got…. 2 more blanks. Oh well. It was hilarious.

This sounds pretty amazing. If I had this much cover, I'd hang back with bounty hunters and HLCs and take shots while everyone else was engaging.
