I am playing a melee game and have the military title whilst running a Stark deck

At the start of the plot phase ( before they are revealed ) i do a player action which involves killing Lucas Blackwood, this allows me to do a military challenge as the next player action. Do i still get +3 on the military title and indeed are titles still relevant at this point ?
