Core set confusion: Why are there 2 Hit and Run?

By Unreal_Ed, in Star Wars: The Card Game

So the Core Set has 2 copies of objective sets 18 and 36, both of which read "Limit 1 per objective deck".

Why did FFG include THOSE sets in double in the core set? out of the all 36 sets included, why did we get this one twice?? I'd have loved to get a Hero's Journey or a Fall of the Jedi twice to have more Skywalker on Skywalker action, but no, for some reason FFG made the only sets that we can't have 2 copies of in double in the core set…

FFG's not one to troll or cheapen out, so I can't imagine they'd incude those to have the core set include more cards. Is there some purpose to this I'm not seeing?

So you can build both LS starter decks at the same time.Same reason there is two copies of Reconnaissance Mission for DS.

It's still a bit strange when you consider the game doesn't come with multiplayer rules, tho.

I guess u can do 2 simultaneous 1v1s? It's kinda meh with the smaller starter decks tho. I wish they'd added double copies of the all 3 neutral sets, so you could have 4 proper 10sets decks.

Anyway, thanks for the answer!

It's so people aren't having to rip apart decks to try other affiliations. Core Sets for LCGs are both Starter Sets and stand alone products for more casual gamers.
