Scenario 3 question: Dark Druid

Wanted to check the rules on scenario 3 to make sure we were reading this right.

Cultists move on the black path Every turn

The Dark Druid are treated as Cultists. Therefore the Dark Druid moves on the black path every turn.

If the Dark Druid moves on the black path. All Monsters move on the black path after their normal movement.

This really complicated our game for about 7 turns. Especially since I had 2 Young Ones, a Star Vamprie, and a Hound of Tinaldos on the board already. These monsters are bad enough when they are mostly still. Having them Patrolling the streets in a circle was not fun.

That's how we played it. So The Dark Druid gets top priority in monster slaying.

Same here, we may call in a buddy to manage monsters as it became a bit complicated remembering where everybody was moving and so on. Brutal.

Absolutely brutal. We're working on our 3rd attempt. We did the musician duo - and succeeded, albeit with a really low score. We're using the Wilson Richards - Michael McGlenn monster killer-duo this time...

I wonder if a viable alternate tactic would be to park someone with a really high stealth in the streets to pin the monsters in place. The monsters won't move past them, and as long as they pass their evade checks they won't need to fight them either. Of course if they get spotted it could get ugly, and gaining corruptions from evading cultits would also hurt a bit.
