Has anyone played Boba Fett with Rebels and/or played against someone who put them together? Any thoughts? Personally I don't see a problem with it. I'm just wondering if as a general cences, if the slave one is strickly an "Imperial" ship.
Slave I and rebels.
While there is nothing to prevent mixing factions in friendly games, the Slave I is most definitely an Imperial faction only ship. There are no "Neutral" ships in the game and the pilot cards for the Slave I have the Imperial symbols on the back.

Officially by the cards, the Firespray 31 is an Imperial ship and the YT-1300 is a Rebellion ship. On the other hand, your question mirrors something I've voiced quite a number of times since their release. Obviously some of the named pilots like Han, Lando and Boba, are clearly identified with their factions, but we should have been given more general pilots usable with either side. I sure flew with and against enough 1300s on the computer. Having both available to either side would make things a lot more interesting. May be a good use of the card builder utility.

yes would be cool to have a pilot or two from each faction mmix it up and b able to fly the salve1 or falcon (even it was smuggler and bounty hunter versions)
To clarify the ships are not rebel or imperial, just the pilot cards that they have released so far . I would argue there is a very good chance we could see opposing factions show up for each later if FFG feels that the players would be receptive to it. (We would be by the way, guys! It would totally make those expensive figs more worthwhile!) Maybe in the form of extra pilot card booster packs?
First of all, thank you everyone for your thoughts. Second, tghe games that I've played have been friendly. I would love to see some pilot that would be for either side as well. I'm going to try it and see what my League has to say.
I'd like to see the lower generic pilots for these ships be available to both sides but I doubt that will happen. certainly teh named pilots belong to their given factions but the generic peon pilots are also thus marked as is the movement dial marked for their respective alliance.
