Thoughts on Smugglers den Post SfSW

I wouldn't have thought a few new ojectives could make a decision on which decks to play so hard. I have tons saved on carddb at the moment. I am leaning towards a few. Regionals at FFG on Friday so gotta decide by then. Right now I like these.

On this one one I can't seem to decide between Han of the new neutral pod that has the shielding. I think I like it more the Jedi/Smuggler regardless as alot of the blast damage is already there.

2x The Defense of Yavin 4

2x The Rebel Fleet

2x Hoth Operations

2x Renegade Squadron Mobilization

2x Questionable Contacts or 2x Prepartion for Battle

Having an even harder time deciding on DS deck as I like three right now. I get kind of bored playing the Sith Control deck so I am leaning towards one of these two decks just to have a little more fun and blow up some objectives along the way.

With 26 Non-Edge Blast damage and 10 edge blast damage you are going to hit something. Also 8 fate cards to help out Tie Attack Squadron, lots of nice cards for Vader's Tie to hit. This deck seems to have a little bit of everything.

2x Black Squadron Assault

2x Death and Despayre

2x Defense Protocol

2x The Endor Gambit

2x Deploy the Fleet

The other DS I like is this one. Its fun but I dont think it's on the same level as the one above. Fairly easy to get at least one capture early to help put the Weequay out for only 2. Between Vader, Orbitabl Bombardment and Trooper Assault you can put alot of Blast damage in out of nowhere.

Preparation for Battle should be in every LS deck. The smugglers den deck is officially no longer the top LS deck. Drop a message from beyond and add Preparation for Battle and swap out Yodas for Obi Wans. Has a better match up against the Top Tier Navy deck than the smuggler den deck.

Rebel vehicles got a huge boost from Prep for battle too. I won a regional today with that and Fleeing the Empire as the center pieces and it helped that Hoth Ops, Defense of Yavin and Journey to Dagobah are pretty good too. I can see Home One being playable with this pod as well.

Tried out the Jedi deck that saw action in your tourney TGO and it works so well its stunning. Game vrs navy, he droped Devastator first turn, guardian of peace jumps up blocks does not die and blocks the unnaposed dmg for the win, then we steal the force back, Mind tricks goodness i forgot how much i love them, if you can lock the force down for the first few turns its just insanely good. Not to mention if your luke gets captured early your little guardians of peace and tanks all get a nice buff @ dial marker 8.

Things i have seen after about 8 games with my jedi is that, i am a little more vounerable to Darth vader, but i can handle all the tatics damage and empire a little better the zerg does not quite work as well vrs this deck as the old smuggler den because i put out a ton more units.
