I read on teh Free RPG day site ( www.freerpgday.com/sponsors.html ) that FFG will be providing a Rogue Trader adventure (W00t!).

However as I'm in the UK and Free RPG day is a USA only afair is there any plans to make the free adventure available internationally at some point?

I´m also outside the US it would be great if the adventure would be published online after the event.

My guess is that it'll be the pre-adventure for Rogue Trader and once Free RPG day is completed, the next week it'll be posted as a free download.

Just to nitpick and clarify, Free RPG Day is also availiable in Canada. Just in case there are any Canadians out there freaking out.

In 2007 my local games store took part in Free RPG day, and it is in Edinburgh... can't remember if there was one last year.

My question is will the scenario include pregens and enough rules to run the scenario on Free RPG Day?

I have a question on how this works exactly, as I'd like to GM the adventure at this event at a local store. I've never GM'd at one of these events, though. It would be nice to have be able to read the adventure ahead of time to get familiar with the rules and the adventure. Will the stores be able to provide the stuff ahead of time for GMs, or will I need to do a rush read the day of the event?

They'll probably have GMs sign up a week or so in advance of the actual event. If you get the job, they'll probably let you buy it or just give it to you as payment for doing so (in my case when I DMed the release of D&D 4th). I'm kind of excited, all told.

Hopefully one of the stores in my area will support this event. It would be great to have an early look at Rogue Trader. I'd definitly like to play in the intro game.

I have done the Free RPG day thing before at my local store. Unfortunately, all they allow is for each customer to get one product and you have to roll a die to see what you get. It is quite frustrating. I did manage to bring some friends once and got them each to roll but still missed out on releases I really wanted to get.

They should have at least let you pick your free RPG if you made a purchase that day.

Which begs the question, will this Rogue Trader sampler be available as a download, a la Shattered Hopes?

Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention! According to the freerpg website: "Each individual store determines how the free items are given out on the day of the event."

There are a couple stores close to me participating, and more that are not so close but still drivable. I'll have to call around to find one who is planning to give the materials in a way that means I can get my hands on RT. It looks like FFG will have a large number of items per kit, so that's encouraging.

Nope, none of the stores I know are participating in Free RPG day.

Closest store for me was Peoria IL, store called Just For Fun. I have been there many times. Owner is great guy.
