Adding power from support cards in defence

By Dela Luna, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to the game. I've been playing a couple of times and I have a question. I have looked at all the relevant FAQ files and the rulebook. I was wondering if you can add the power from a support card to the defence of that zone. For example: Contested Village. I know that if you put the cord in Your Kingdom zone you can get 1 extra resource and if you put it into your Quest Zone you can get 1 extra card. However, If an opponent attacks the quest zone with the Contested Village card and a Hunstman Card, can you add the power to the defence? So that would be a total of 2 power rather 1 power from the Hunstman only. What I've been doing is that they can add power only to defence if you have any other physical unit defenders. I've looked at the rulebook and the FAQ file and I can't find anything that disqualifies this. I'm just confirming is this is allowed. If not that's okay at least I know. Thanks. Ed Dela Luna

Only units can be attackers or defenders unless the support says something special on it, like Guard Squigs. So the Contested Village doesn't help the Huntsman fight, or anything like that.

Hey Thanks for the clarification. Now I know. Dela Luna
