We had the first of two Louisville regionals yesterday; it went well, everyone had a good time and I have to say that the shop was really clean and nice, and the owner seemed like a great guy! We only had 8 players, probably because of so many other regional events the same day (at least three SW and Netrunner events nearby) so we did 3 rounds and then cut to a top 4. Heres the breakdown:

After the cut we had:

1. Kenny: Targ KotHH
2. Mike: Lanni No Agenda
3. Sandy: GJ No Agenda
4. Tony: GJ HoD (Grief)

Lanni and Targ both beat their GJ opponents and went on to play a grueling game that lasted something like 10 rounds, including crazy nonsense rounds like the one where my Arys Oakheart discarded an Ally, followed by Varys discarding my Castellan, Qyburn discarding Varys by reviving Jorah Mormont then Daario got Ambushed from the Plains and discarded Arys…
I was 2 cards away from decking myself at the end thanks to GTMs and despite being 1 power away from the win, Kenny burned me for all I was worth and took the championship! Congrats to Kenny, nice to meet some more new players and see Dodd, Kenny and Tony again, looking forward to the second Louisville event in June and hoping to see a larger crowd!
