Simply the topic title.
Either way, please back your claim up with a page number. I feel like the GM is adding SB twice assuminng that the little weapon summaries they have in the NPC profiles doesn't include their Strength Bonus.

Pg 363
Adept with SB of 2, Unarmed, Damage is 1d5-1. Normal Unarmed Damage is 1d5-3
See, from a formatting and empirical sense, yes they do already include the strength bonuses.
However, they don't explicitly say that. Ergo, GM (or whatever) can be a ****.
NPC damage has included strength bonus, crushing blow, etc in every game line since DH, but the statement that this is so has dropped off from the rules copy/paste since then.
If your GM is adding strength bonus a second time, that could get really hideous with some of the stronger foes - an extra 8 or 10 damage from chaos marines or other big foes can turn a balanced encounter into *Never get into melee, you'll die every time!*
yeah but if you managed to kill them and take thier weapons you get a weapon with their strength and talents added into it and then get to add your own to it.
OP? Roll with it, the GM won't change his mind, so let him taste his own medicine and enjoy your 1d10+4 Balanced Swords :3
