Ok I know this is not a serious thread so if you’re hard core and irritated by its stupidity just ignore it. It’s just a simple thought from a simple minded solo player. Now back on topic. Do you drink and Fly/play. If so how do you think it affects your skill and gaming experience? And most importantly what is your drink of choice? Mine is Kraken Rum and Coke. And I am more relaxed and tend to take more risk or play more aggressively (determination, push the limit and dare devil without the skill cards). This turns out to be a bad thing some times because common since tends to go out the window. But my friends don’t mind of course. Ok I do have some friends to play with so I don’t play solo all the time just most the time. And if you guessed I’m drinking some of my jet juice right now then you have guessed right my friend. Anyway do you drink and fly?

Depends on the focus of the game. Casual and fun, why not? Brats make a good addition as well.

If I'm at a tourney, then water only.

I only play casual, so it's great fun to play while enjoying a few beers/after a smoke.

I almost always drink.

However, this means even on the staggeringly rare occasions I can actually PLAY anything, it's virtually always at my house. This limits my gaming options, even after such things as work schedule/time with wife/chores etc.

Tactically or creatively, I probably play better early on, but I'll admit I can have too much sometimes and that adversely affects both minis tactics or GMing.

My main drink of choice is wine.

Yes, if I am with friends and we are having beers it is a good time. Otherwise, no.

And yes, I remember him. And I remember he got killed, too.

Had a game and Beer last night at our LGS. But I don't really have more than two beers for the mood. So since it isn't even coming close to my limit I don't notice a difference.

And honestly compaired to other games I play this is a "beer and chips" game. Even in tournements I treat all my games as fun becuase they are "Games".

Only in the safety of my own home. A beer or two at most. Once I did play every time you took a hit you drank. That was crazy. I don't do it often but I do fly lists I would never fly at an event.

I do not promote drinking and flying. If you must drink do it responsibly. Underage drinking and flying is never cool.

At the game store, no.

When buddies come over for a game it's beer or Jamesons.

Interesting the number of players that will ave a drink at home but not at their LGS. ( If it sells beer.)

Now mind you I take the bus to go out to game, so I don't worry about DUIs (very much against DD) but besides that it is not much different than going to the bar for a drink. Take it easy and it is a good time.

definitely, i took up this game for fun, and sometimes that fun is made even more fun by adding a couple of glasses of wine/ a smoke. I do like what i read earlier in this post, drinking game, drink every time you take a hint, will definitely try that this friday.

With this game I do not drink, not because of gameplay more because I'm very heavy hand if I've had a drink and I don't want to break the models.

Other than coffee, tea, and water? Nope, don't drink alchohol at all.
