This happens to be my first post…I have been lurking around the FFG forum for the past couple months. And Today I decided to join the forum and start posting some stuff here and there.

How to Trade Used Video Games for X-Wing Core-Set?

The Answer is, Gamestop/EB Games.

I went to my local Gamestop and traded around 25 PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii games for store credit (received $140 bucks in credit…Last month they had a special $30 bucks for every 3 games you traded in for store credit). Now I hadn’t picked up a new game for any of the consoles since last summer…So I was surprised to get that much credit.

Anyways, back to getting the Core Set!!

It is not sold in the actual walk-in storefront, but the X-Wing Core set is available through Gamestop.com.

It is hidden, but if you enter in the search box….X-Wing, it should show up in the results.

I ended up picking up three core sets and a Lego Star Wars mini Death Star set (to be used with X-Wing) along with a Star Wars Clone Trooper bust bank from Diamond Select. Plus free shipping…WOOT WOOT!! Gamestop.com usually will have monthly free shipping promotions with$25/$50 orders, if not available when you’re ordering, just wait it out, especially if your near a weekend or better yet a holiday.

Hope this helps fellow X-Wing enthusiasts like me, who do not have the budget to throw at a new hobby.
