How to replace the fade dice of the basic edition of battlelore? And some other fittings? Thanks.
How to replace the fade dice ?
Try contacting FFG customer support. I am not certain they will replac it as I thought DOW was phasing out the replacement program even before they sold everything to FFG.
The link for Customer Support is down below as "Contact"
DoW had a limited window during which you could replace out your dice that came with the game. There was definitely an acknowledged problem with fading. I wonder if reworking some of those components to get them up to the FFG high standard will affect this at all. It's definitely worth getting in touch with customer support though. They have been a dream to deal with in my opinion.

Just to correct something - DoW always replaced the fading dice w/o a limited window. I should know since I demoed so many times that the dice were quite abused. Of course, being a demoer, maybe I had special allowances for it. But also DoW had a "replace an item w/o cost" policy as well - I do believe you might have to pay for shipping but that would be it [depending on the item].

It must have been a demo perk. Not only was there a limited window ("hurry while supplies last"), it was also limited to the first print run of the game. If your code didn't match, they weren't replacing it.
ah FFG replaced my dice with no code needed, they have the best CS i have delt with so far
Back when I first got the game DOW replaced my dice FOC.....then again they kind of had to as 2 of them were totally blank on 1 side. We've kept the new set of 12 dice they sent in their packet and using the original 10. Unfortunately it is noticable that they are fading after only 20-30 games so I am going to look at varnishing the new set.

Seconded. They don't need codes or photos, just your address. I got my dice, banner for goblins, and 1 missing heavy dwarf figure 2 months ago. The custom people decided to ****** the call to arms cards for reasons unknown to me, and Thaadd immediately sent a second set of the cards. I received the cards about a week ago. Even joked "I hope the customs won't need another set" in a short letter enclosed with the cards. Superb customer service.
Replacing or not replacing... Before you start playing BL, you should inject your dices with clear coat.
I did, and since that day, the dices didn't any longer fading.
You could do it at any time! And after this, it will stopp fading. Just do it
thanks a lot for all of you!
FFG and DoW both have sterling reputations for customer support. I've had nothing but great experiences with both and is a major reason why I never have reservations when plunking down the cash it takes to buy an FFG game. It's also why I can recommend them to friends.
