Hey there everyone.

Was playing a game where I used the Heavy Blaster Emplacement and I enabled the Action :" Focus this enhancement to have your opponent deal 1 damage to a unit he controls".

My opponent was adamant that he could select which unit he wanted to.

I believed that I could "command" that he put a damage on a unit and I would select the unit.

It caused a very, VERY heated discussion, could someone please help.

Since it doesn't tell you to choose a unit, it is up to your opponent to decide where the damage goes.

If you're looking for something where you and not your opponent chooses, the wording will be slightly different, but clear in time. Like the Defense Protocol objective for DS, #30:

"…reduce your reserve value by 1 to deal 1 damage to a target unit."
