A nowdays warfare device or a middle ages warfare device?

Well… Just to keep it alive, I'll go out of turn again… (Also since I happen to be horrible at getting these right..cangrejo)

Anyway. I'm afraid this one will be to easy.

A warfare device + (Think of pickles)

well given anything pickled is horrible, how about Gundabad haha.

p.s. im really liking this lobster culture we have adapted in the absence of any decent emoticons

Begun the crab wars has….

cangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejo

cangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejocangrejo

So far I have the Biggest army of Crabs. ;)

Yes. I've grown very fond of those crabs… reir cangrejocangrejocangrejo

But on the warfare device, it's a modern weapon.

Oh, and on Gundabad.. Unfortunatley, your dislike of pickled foods is not an influence to the answer. :)

shot in the dark as i cant associate with pickles…but bombadil?

Good going overall, including the yoda crap, I mean crab. I had a laugh. And I think Bombadil is correct. And merging the threads, it were the orcs who first deviced the weapons of mass destruction.

Well??? Was Bombadil correct????

THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME… atontado

Quite sure it seems like a good response… we need another one so I can take a crack at it… have a couple I've thought up to post once I've earned it… lol

im not so sure if i am correct…..take away the bomb and you have adil..i cant make the connection

Well, I can definitely see the connection between pickles and dill… sounds reasonable. i think you should just go ahead and post another in anticipation of the glory that is surely yours!

Whoa! Sorry I was taking so long! But yes, Bombadil is definitely correct! Rich's turn…?

thanks legolas. ok here's another riddle…nice and easy,

your eyes would be pretty dry after witnessing this

lol…. at work and my brain is fried after the week… all my mind can envision when reading that is the eye of Sauron… a giant lidless eye, wreathed in flame… keep seeing it in my head, and now I'm looking around for some Visene to squirt in my eyes… pensativo

sorry, friend….you're on the wrong tracks there

rich

Maybe another small hint?

sure…..your eyes would be dry because of all the tears…..

rich

Could it be Shadow and Flame? Or the Balrog? I'm think this because when I'm thinking of Flame/Fire I think of smoke and maybe would it be like getting tears from getting smoke in your eyes? ehh I'm probably wrong.

sorry, but no, wrong lines again.

think of a battle in the 1st age

Nirnaeth Arnoediad, the Battle of Unnumbered Tears.

I am not that much of an aficionado, but rich's hint gave the lay person enough info to find it.

I'll go ahead and post a new one -- sorry if my answer was incorrect! :) Here's your clue:

An end to Bandobras's leisure, but not out.

well done!

so the current clue is Grandspleen's

An end to Bandobras's leisure, but not out.

Fingolfin?

Fin(end) + golf + in

I'll keep it going, in case I was correct:

Name-fellow with a pugilist

And you were correct!

fellowship of the ring?

No. Clue: name-fellow is kind of an obscure word, it means sharing a name.

The Kin-Strife? (kinship + strife/conflict)
