I hear rumors that Guardian Games is holding a tourney on June 22nd. When I called them, they had no knowledge of any tournament. Anyone know what's going on?
Portland, Oregon Tournament?
They have a Regionals set up for June 22nd for X-Wing. They don't have a regular x-wing gaming group, so it's a little disorganzied there. There's another event in Vancover on June 8 I think, at Dice Age games. I've been to some of their events, and it's always been fun and well organized. Not sure what to say about Guardian, but it might be because it's still a ways off for them.

So, ummmm…who scheduled the tourney there for June 22nd, if the store doesn't know anything about it?
Seems like someone must know something…
Also: good grief, which one of your two keeps clearing the shelves of their minis?! Do you have any idea how hard it is to build up a squadron in this city???
I/ve just gotten in to the game but I saw that starting in May Red Castle Games was gonna start having a play group and build toward tournaments. I just went in yesterday and wiped them out, but they say they are getting more in today so you may be able to find some there.
Things related to X-Wing at Guardian Games you'll probably want to speak with Joel. Last I knew he was organizing and running the 1-a-month (or once every 2 months) X-Wing mini-tournies. He was the TO for the Kessel Run as well, so, he's probably in charge of any X-Wing stuff at GG.
Also, there is a tournament at Dice Age Games in Vancouver on May 4th.
We have two events coming up at Dice Age Games in Vancouver. The first is a "May the Fourth Be With You" tournament and the second is X-Wing Regionals.
The Regionals are on June 8th, full details still to be determined (cost, start time, etc) but I'll have those worked out in the next week or two.
Details for the May the Fourth Be With You event are:

Don't look at me. I've never been to Guardian Games, so it wasn't me buying everything.
Nexus Games at 475 NE burnside Rd. in Gresham Oregon is playing x-wing on thursdays. Show up and help build Portland's only x-wing league.
Oh, that's real close to my neighborhood out East.
Borderlands in Salem OR has X-wing night every monday around 5 and league games for X-wing every other monday as well as monthly tournaments. So if you are close it is a great place to check out. The league games are pretty big and are following a campaign style build. Also a store championship on the 29th at noon.
