It has finally arrived: the SWLCG Tournament final round. In the semifinals, #3 agnos defeated #2 brad_harrington and #1 marcr defeated #4 Jedi_Knight in an epic 3-game match with no Dark Side wins for once. Which leaves our final match-up as:

In all seriousness, I had some ridiculous draws. Game 1 I peel 2 Councils and get an opening hand of Vader x2, Choke x2, Lightning and Twist. Turn 1 Vader gets Mind Tricked and I draw into Heat and a Royal Guard. He plays Guardian who I choke out, then Yoda who puts a third damage on a Council. I choke out Yoda on upkeep and play the guard. He plays a couple of guardians and passes back to me. I play Motti and a stormtrooper and pass back. He plays Han and a twilek loyalist. He swings in with the Han and the 2 guardians. I block will everyone except motti. I twist on the first then heat to remove a shield. I force a split between the guardians then kill one with a Dark Precognition. I kill the second with Vader and he kills the guard and puts a 3rd tactics on Vader but it's unimportant as I have Motti back to auto win edge vs the Twilek and I have full board control so he concedes after I Force Lightning Han on my refresh and Interrogation on his draw.
Game 2 is somewhat similar, I flip up two forgotten heroes and a In You Must Go. I keep a hand of Luke, Yoda, Training Grounds, Our Most Desperate Hour, Crossfire and Guardian. He plays Interrogation droid, Sith Library and Royal Guard turn 1 discarding my Yoda adding the Droid to the force. I draw a second protector. Play the Training Grounds then Luke drawing 2 and swing in. He decides not to block and I put 3 damage on both the objective and the Royal guard with Crossfire. He plays a stormtrooper and a sith apprentice and passes. I play Our Most Desperate Hour on refresh to push Luke past the droid easily and get more cards and play Obi drawing 2. I swing with obi and he blocks with the forced up Droid. After a twist from me and 2 cards from both of us I lose edge but that's fine… unfortunately he did get a Heat off on Obi. I then swing at Fall of the Jedi to get 2 damage onto it and kill his stormy after winning edge with me popping the shield to prevent damage. He drops Duty Officer and Vader and chokes out Obi looking to stabilize. I drop Guardian, Twilek Smuggler, Training Grounds, Twilek Loyalist and Lightsaber to luke with Deflection in hand. Nothing he can do can prevent me from grabbing 1 objective and winning the match as I attack the less important objectives with tactics guys first then would knock out council and get the bonus of getting to blow up Vader via Targeted Strike and Deflection.
Just some very odd games indeed.
