Can you cast the hydra spell on the crown of command and can it be multiplied to all the other characters. (Hydra spell is being cast by a character not in the crown of command)

Hydra Spell has to be cast on a Spell which may affect characters.
Command Spell is treated like a Spell and targets characters, so it is a valid target for Hydra Spell.
The Command Spell already targets all characters, so using Hydra Spell on it will result in no effect, unless you want to extend damage the character on the Crown. You can't cast a Spell with no effect, so the only possible option for Hydra is to affect the character casting the Command Spell.
Unfortunately, once you've rolled the die the Command Spell must be resolved and nothing can interfere with it. If you want to use Hydra Spell, you have to do it before rolling the die for Command Spell.
In summary, an interesting thought, but in the end not a real option.
Thanks for the response. Didn't really change the effect of our game, but we were sketchy on how it would work.
