I really like them, especially the Gold/Yellow ones. You want them to know who just passed them…

Go go Power Rangers!

You still need a pink one, and a black one. complice

They look really cool! Did you strip the models down beforehand?

Ya the models were stripped using brake fluid. Let them soak for a day and took a toothbrush to them.

Awesome job man!

wow! very cool.

*drool. They look amazing!

I've never painted before, but I really want to try. It's hard to justify buying paints instead of ships. Maybe I should find a friend and borrow his paints…

When you fly these ships all in a squadron, your battlecry should be, "Taste the rainbow motherf****r!!!!"

Great work…

Also, I like the idea of marking the bases; I am adding matching military spec decals to the left and right sides(yellow/black caution stripes).

Very nice. You may want to give them a thin wash to age them a little

As far as the bases go I did what this very clever guy did over at the Few Maneuvers website. Check it out, it's an AMAZING mod.

I've played 2 games since I've put silicone and washers on the bases of my ships and must say it's changed the gaming experience for the better. The ships have some weight to them now and they do not move around at all. Well that's not true, I tend to bump my ships like a drunken sailor, but without the silicone they'd be all over the place! I play on what would be deemed a slippier than average surface too (custom wooden table with multiple coats of varnish). The ships grip the table very well.

I already sealed them in varnish :( I was thinking about adding a wash but I don't have the new GW washes and the old inks can overdo it. I'll probably paint up some more A-Wings later. If I do I'll try to find a wash that matches the existing stock FFG A-Wing colour scheme.

The benefit of an off white colour is that it makes the A-Wing look really zippy…

Rainbow Squadron, loud and proud!

Those look great! Thanks for posting the pics.
