First thing you want is a good randomization skill base. Don't just pick up that D6 and chuck it. Give it some love. It can be your friend. Become one with your cube o' luck and she'll love you back.

Also, its a good idea to appease to the god's when drawing a card. This is Warhammer so make a blood sacrifice to Khorne (he also loves skulls), throw up on some one for Nurgle (he also loves puss), confuse somebody for Tzzheehccehk (maybe spell his name right to impress him), and do something with your privates for Slaanesh (preferably under the table). Hopefully they find your favor and you don't draw something to crush your spirits. Chin up! This universe is dark and bleak! There is no puppy and rainbows card!
