I just won my local regional, at the Whiz Store in Westboro Massachusetts! There were 19 of us and it ws awesome.

Here is the list I used;

Han Solo + Marksmanship + Gunner

Gold Squad Pilot + Ion Turret

Gold Squad Pilot + Ion Turret

My first game I played against Kath with HLC, and 3 ties. I destroyed a tie a turn with the Han, while the Y-Wings escorted Kath off the board.

My second game I played against an Awing swarm. The combo of all turrets and ions robbbed the awings of their biggest advantage and I ended up taking down a ship a turn.

My third game I played against Vader, howlrunner, soontir, and mauler. It was a wierd list but the guy relly flew it well. I did not lose a single ship until this round, I lost one of the ywings.

In the finals I played against elite ties with vader. This was a tough match at the end we were down to a Ywing with 2 hull remaining and Dark Curse with 1 hull remaining. My opponant couldn't line up a shot as I flew through asteroids, but I couldn't hit him because 3 agility plus 1 for obsticle plus an evade token plus dark curse's pilot ability says you don't hit him. I got a lucky shot off when he clipped an asteroid and lost his action.

I plan on traveling to Conn. next weekend to play in another regional. I gotta think up a new list before then, any suggestions?

Nope, sounds like a pretty sweet list. I have to say, every time I fly my Firespray against an ion cannon I am afraid. Looks like I have good reason to be.

I came in second with Trelix + HLC + Proximity Mine; Mithel + Squad Leader; Backstabber; Dark Curse + Stealth. The winner had Chewie + Gunner + Falcon + VI; Lando + Gunner. I played him twice. Destroyed Chewie and did four damage to Lando in the preliminary rounds. I flew poorly in the finals and didn't destroy any of his ships just took off a bunch of shields.

I just got back from my second regionals. I fielded:

Han+ marksmanship+gunner

and 2 gold squad pilots wiith ion turrets

I went 6-1 and came in second

first place 3 tie acadamy pilots, 2 interceptors with stealth and howlrunner with stealth, whose player had a record of 5-2

That was my Howling Commandos list against Hank. What a long grueling day >.<

It's been holding up very well against big ship squads in 2 Regionals. So far, haven't lost to any Firesprays; lost to only 1 Falcon list (in round 3 yesterday, and then beat that same player when we met again in round 5).
