Heard about this recently. Apparently Dark Horse has the go ahead to produce a comic based on the original screenplay for Star Wars before it evolved into the movie we got in '77. Due out in the fall it sounds very interesting. I've always been a fan of alternate universes, Marvel's What IF?, DC's Elseworld, Star Trek's Mirror Universe, and, of course, Star Wars Infinities.

I thought that was an April Fool's gag. I've read some if the early drafts, each of which are totally different from each other and they're entertaining in a weird way. The very first one reminds me a lot of Dune.

I'm a bit on the fence with this. I think it'd be really cool to see the original story. That said, it could be really painful if it doesn't get a coat of polish.

I also totally don't trust anything printed on April 1, even if it does claim to be true. Some kind of follow up to clear up the matter would be nice.
