Whats going on? Why no products in shops? Is there going to be a reprint of Wave 2 with worldwide distribution or is it all going to be reserved by US customers again?
Really losing interest out here.

Maybe not in stores…you can try buying them on online stores. Im tyred of waiting for an x wing. I want my x wing number 6 to paint it and its sold out everywhere. I also need a tie fighter for a friend and they are nowhere to be found ![]()
None in stock, on line, anywhere.
They sold out. The game is selling faster than FFG can get product made.
I agree this is frustrating and too bad. You can still get the big ships on Amazon for reasonable prices, but the small Wave 2 ships often cost as much or more than the large ships. I am grateful I preordered 3 of each small ship from Wave 2 (and that my friend preordered 2 of each small ship from Wave 2). Between us we have enought to play any squad, but I'd be very disappointed if we didn't have what we wanted at this point. Hopefully the reprint of both waves will happen soon.
Just before Xmas Amazon was selling TIEs and TIE Advanced X1s for as little as $6 or $7 (and Y-Wings and X-Wings for about $8 or $9). Was really hoping to see something like that for wave 2 at some point, but probably just wishful thinking for now.
This is completely unofficial and the online dealer may have been shining me on but I was told that FFG were trying to restock by mid-April. If it happens great…..I wont count my chickens quite yet.
It's issues like this is when making friends with your FLGS comes in handy. Yes, it's quite terrible and sad that Wave 2 products aren't in shops. The thing is that they probably were in, but sold out within the first half week.
Talking with my local shop owner, I told him that I was interested in the game and he told me that he was willing to hold a few units for a little bit should it come in and not be available. While it didn't come to that (He called me when it came in and I rushed there after work), I thank him by buying it at his shop, even though it came in about 2 weeks late. I figure local shops have a tighter stock supply than their online counterparts, so them gauging interest allows them to bring in the right amount. They also tell me when items come in.
Hopefully that rumor is true about a mid-april resupply. I'd like to pick up a few more units.
Phantasia in the uk still have some wave 2 left in stock if anyone's interested

I went to Barnes and Noble, in the USA, trying to get some of the Wave 2 ships, since they stocked X-Wing before Christmas (both the game, and the expansion minis), but they only had the old stuff still (boxed sets and Wave 1 fighters).
I asked at customer service, to see if they had any in other stores, or in stock in the back, and they didn't even have any Wave 2 ships listed.
So, it's unclear to me if they won't be stocking them, or just can't get them, but it was very disappointing.
Will have to come up with a workaround in the interim I guess, until FFG can get their production/inventory pipeline issues sorted out, e.g. using the Micromachines fighters, and/or going 2 x as large, and using the Diecast metal minis instead.
The nice thing about those options at least, are that I can field Wave 2, AND Wave 3 now, including the Tie Defender and B-wing, amongst others.
Still, it'd be nice to be able to field the smaller minis, eventually.
Has anyone thought of using WizKids Pocketmodels as stand in's until more wave 2 ships are available. I realize they can't be used in tournaments, but casual games could be great. I use a capitol ship from the Clone Wars: Tactics as the shuttle… Bought most of mine at Target (10 packs for $10), but that was several years ago, some packs are still available on Amazon. I would stick to the Base set or Scum and Villiany to get fighters. They are random packs, and some won't be very useful. I am so glad FFG is not selling blind packs!
My guess is Barnes & Noble isn't going to be stocking the Wave 2 ships; my local B&N (which is the downtown Seattle branch, and presumably has a pretty high customer turnover) had all of the Wave 1 ships and core sets literally gathering dust on the shelf. If that's at all indicative of their sales trends, I wouldn't be surprised if they did not stock Wave 2 very much (after all, who thinks to go to B&N for games? They never have much of a selection, and they're typically overpriced the few times I've looked at them).
I found Wave 2 ships available at paizo.com last night, but I don't know yet if they're actually available or if they have an outdated inventory system. Ordered a few, anyway; we'll see.
I really hope FFG is indeed aiming for a mid-April reprint, though. Being able to get these locally or through a vendor I already have confidence in would be lovely.

Barnes and Nobles had them in stock as of two weeks ago. I bought three for $12 and change. I also got three A-Wings. Glad I jumped in when I did.
