I've played about 10 "serious" games of X-Wing miniatures and have had some success with the standard 4-ship rebel build, its quite a bit of firepower. I built this team as a departure from the mindset of "more ships more better" which I've had so far.

Y-Wing "Dutch" Vander (23 pts, 44 pts total)

This squad has two ships with 360 degree firing arcs (the ion cannon turret on the Y-Wing, albeit at range 1-2 only), the opportunity for both ships to have target lock & another action each round, all with a whopping 26 hp (considering all upgrades). That 26 hp doesn't factor in possible healing from R2-D2 onto the Y-Wing. My plan was to fly slow from the corner of the map, open up with proton torpedoes and Luke Skywalker at max range, and then focus down ship by ship as they come into optimal firing ranges of my crafts. With the 360 degree firing arc on both ships and their target lock synergy I am hoping to be able to knock down 1 enemy ship per round. Do you guys have any ideas or tweaks you would suggest? Maybe subbing out the Torpedoes for something else? Let me know what y'all think. Thanks!
