What do you guys think is the best option to put The Twins in a Solo deck (I love them but in solo play they're really tough build a deck around)…I tried with Glorfindel (FoS) and got to defeat a lot of scenarios (not always with excellent results but still won) and I also matched them with Aragorn (mostly for thematic reasons)…I found the Aragorn deck stronger (but much more difficult to get to work since you NEED Steward of Gondor and one spirit resource icon, plus 32 threat can be a pain)…has anyone tried anything else ? I was curious and wanted to know your idea if you guys would like to share. Thanks !
Elladan and Elrohir Solo Deck
Legolas rules with these two. Lots of Dunedain Marks and Warnings with the Noldor Weapons. Legolas can basically quest for you reliably and having him attack multiple times with Cram or the like to get more and more tokens place can help a lot. Use some effective "weenie" characters with Faramir to quest. Steward of Gondor, the usual suspects.
Hm, I tried that in a few scenarios because they're my three favourite heroes but I found the lack of spirit cards too heavy for an elven based deck…and to quest succefully in the first turns you need to exhaust the twins…cram is a good card but you can't "rely" on it…plus 29 threat without access to spirit is very high…I don't know, I had some fun when I tried it but you can only manage to defeat a handful of scenarios and with a lot of unnecessary effort…
I think Balin now goes very well with the brothers. For a Leadership-Tactics deck, these can actually quest quite well from the start. Resource acceleration is obviously needed, Steward is the best opening hand, again.
Though it is Noldor-Dwarf deck, it can be pretty thematic, if you care about such things; you know, like the old Noldor smiths in Eregion, that type of theme.
Use Cram, even Second Breakfast is good to recycle that one. Dúnedain Marks, Warnings and Watchers (rangers, you know). Sneaky Gandalf, obviously. Rivendell Blade and Bow, Hands Upon the Bow, Foe-Hammer. It is all pretty obvious.
Still, it is hard to do consistently well with Leadership-Tactics in solo game. It may be a very good supporting deck, especially when we get more Elven cards.
About exactly a year ago I played through all of the quests (that had been released up to that point), quite successfully, with an Eowyn, Elladan, & Elrohir.

I'm currently playing a Legolas, Elladan, Elrohir deck and doing quite well with it, but I'm not using it solo.
