I can only hope Fantasy Flight looks at the forms. I and I'm sure outhers would like to see some Mats made. I know other companys make them' but I would like to see them with the Death Star or Some Star Destroyers in the back ground.
Make some Mats
I think they might be hesitant to make mats because it is possible that the play area may be enlarged to account for the wider variety of ships that are now available. The 100 point cap build is becoming limiting with so many options and large ships could use more space to rome around in.

I'd like to see them have a crack at mats too, because the ones I've seen on the market, thus far, have been overpriced, and with ultra ridiculous postage fees for anyone not in the US. I'm sure that FFG could produce something decent, a lot cheaper, and with its global distribution network, get it into people's hands, without a postage fee almost as big as the cost of the mat itself…!
In one of the videos on Board Game Geeks there is a part where they hint at upcomming stuff and indicated they are considering a mat down the road. Nothing new on that front yet. VR James Mattes
