Broken figurines

By player632440, in StarCraft

When I bought my set from a shop in the mall, I opened it up and found that one of the Overlord's mutalisks had no wings and there were no dismembered wings in the bag. In short, I think it's a factory problem.

I would like to know if there is any way to get a new green mutalisk and how much it will cost.

Inform customer service of your defective piece and they should mail you a new one (at no cost). FFG does a phenomenal job of getting replacement components to their customers in the case of defective pieces.

Thank you for your quick response. I have already notified them as per your guidance.

That is good to know. I've been thinking of picking up this game and have read several reviews. I realy like the gameplay and the over all quality, how ever, many of the reviews have mentioned broken figures. Mainly it is the flying units that seems to be fragile (the clear stand appernetly breakes of easily). This thread some what lessens my concerns, thanks happy.gif

I had five broken air units (beyond simple repair with glue, an unusually extreme case) and a deformed Ultralisk (no base), and I had replacements within a week. FFG's customer service is second to none in this business, and I love them for it.

I had a single broken Aldaris Arbiter. It was replaced very shortly after contacting FFG. I give their customer service a big thumbs up!

customer support is really amazing, but on the other hand most of us have payed about 80 $ for this game so everything should be ok.

I can only talk about the german support (heidelberger spieleverlag) they even gave me some new cards after i had destroyed them accidentally and that without any costs. That is service beyond any standards.

I got my copy of SC in the mail yesterday. As I sorted through the units I found 10 broken flyers and a Marine whos left arm was broken of. I've sent a message to support and juding by this thread I'm confident things will work out nicley.

Jap don't panic and give them some time. They needed about 2 weeks to answer and than 2 to send my new figures and it wasn't in december.

(but than again it wasn't FFG it was Heidelberger-spieleverlag)

Hello,

We just bought SC yesterday at a local vendor and after oppening the box we found 11 broken flying units (all 6 battlecruisers, and 5 other bigger flying units). The problem is we are from Slovenia, EU. Does anyone have any information, where could we ask for replacements. It sucks that after you pay 73€ for a game, you get so many broken pieces.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you guys in advance,

Rok

Click the "support" link at the bottom of every page on the site (including this one).

Select "Customer Support" from the options, and describe your situation (Don't forget to include your home address).

From my experience, you will be contacted in a short while, and notified that replacement figures are on their way to you. Let's hope for the best.

Thank you for the help.

I did what you suggested, I just sent them the message. And now I wait. :)

Cant wait to start playing, it really looks great.

Thanks again,

cheers

Rok

FFG's customer service really shines, so I'll doubt you'll be disappointed.

I had broken flyers too. 2 battlecruisers and 1 carrier. There also was a dragoon with a missing leg. Fortunately it was still in the bag! It seems to me that it just was not glued... ah well!

I forgive them because of the reasonnable price for the amount of components. (and it was easy to glue back together the broken ones so no major issue)

I got my replacement parts today, all in good condition and only 10 days between reporting the problem and delivery. That is awsome considering it was overseas shiping involved.

Thanks FFG for your excelente service!

I have a question. You see, I got this game for almost a year ago, can I stil ask them for the broken units?

Thanks to all for this post. I received the game as a gift and had seven broken units. Four I can repair with crazy glue but I have an explorer missing its central ball; a zergling pair missing one of the two bugs; and a battlecruiser missing a wing. I submitted a request for replacements to customer service. Glad to hear FFG has high customer service.

I just recieved the figurines today, 12 days after FFG answered my request. I live in EU, so that was VERY fast.

Thank you FFG! GREAT customer service. 10/10

I guess I was fortunate and only had 2 broken flyers (both were fixed with glue) and a purple hydralisk that had another hydralisk's head impaled on its claw, I likedhim, he's my Hunter Killer. Still its nice to know that if something gets damaged beyond the power of glue, we are in good hands.
