Both of the Event cards "In Need of Heroes" and "Like Animals Before A Storm" mention the term "Total Experience Value". Page 5 of the rules states that "Your experience counters have an experience point value equal to how many experience points you spent to gain the counters". Let's say I have a +2 Melee Counter and 4 green adventure tokens (1s) beside my Heroe. Using the "5 Exp. points for 1 Exp. Counter" in a one player game, would my total experience value be 5? In the two Event cards I mentioned they both have read (from both adventure counters and experience counters)....this is the part that confuses me.

Your total Experience value is "Experience counters" + "Adventure counters". Each Experience counter (Mind+2, Body+ 2, Spirit +2) is worth the experience points gained to earn it (5 in your case); adventure counters are worth the value printed on them. In your case you had 5 + 4 Exp. points for a total of 9.
