you will not escape.

You Will not Escape is THE card that defines legacy. It totally wrecks all the current decks that hace very few, high-difficulty or off-symbol attacks that kill in 1 turn or attack.

Having it again would totally change the current meta. For good or bad.

Remove order from it and it would be for good.

From talkint to a Goo about bring back YWNE is see y it cant come back now, The main thing he put my attention to is there are to many control check hacks. Even though the CCH does not end your turn, the ability of YWNE will make you end your turn because you have not played a attack yet. so even will BRT if there fail the control check of that attack their turn will end because of YWNE not the BRT.

If the attack gets BRT'd, the condition of YWNE (their next form) was met, so the next form following no longer has to be an attack.

That would be so only if YWNE said that you have to attempt to play a attact as your next from, but i just states that you have to play it.

YWNE only affects ONE form, the NEXT form your opponent plays or attempts to play. If you attempt to play an attack and fail it, that form has now COME AND GONE. Yeah, you didn't "play an attack" but you also didn't "pass" as that form, so if you really want to get into it, you could say that YWNE's effect "fizzled". It wasn't satisfied either way, and CAN'T be satisfied anymore from that point onward, because they are now on a form NOT within the scope of YWNE's effect.

YES, this was ruled by Dave on STG's boards.

It's a shame UR M.Bison's interection with YWNE wasn't ruled in a similar way, since that deck was quite a NPE back in the day in my opinion.

There's really no way around it for Bison -- his wording is extremely explicit as far as "if that card can't be played, then the turn ends".

I had an amusing thought; Defender looping YWNE. No grey war for you...

I'm so going to do that for legacy
