Where's my Kender/Halfling/Hobbit/Nelwyn?

By shnar, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

It seems that Terrinoth is a pretty "generic" fantasy world, but of all the Heroes, I have yet to see a "halfling" race. Any thoughts of introducing some in the next expansion? The little ones, furry feet optional, I want to play Willow! ;)

Does the guy riding the wolf in ToI count?

I dread painting that little guy. The 20-25mm range is hard enough for me, being used to Warhammer Fantasy figures... But it is interesting that they don't give much background on what the heroes are. Is it just supposed to be some kid riding a wolf or what?

I'd love to see an RPG sourcebook come out for the Descent/Runebound world ;-)

I would assume the Okaluk & Rakash figure is your best bet for a Kener/halfing/hobbit/nelwyn. And as far as a rpg...there is enough source material between D:JITD and its expansions as well as Runebound and its expansions to take your favourite rpg system and start creating and converting. I personally use the Eden Studios Uni-system for my Descent/Runebound conversions. But I have also heard of others using D&D 4th ed among others.
