So me and some friends are working out a sieries of missions that are thematicly challenging, but still balanced. The 2 we're working on are Bombing Run and Gravity Well. I'll be posting more about "Gravity Well" later, but it's going to be like the awsome Victory SSD that is being built. "Bombing Run" is a senario like the trench run in "A New Hope". Enjoy!
Setup: Playing field is a 2x4 area. The Imperial forces set up within 1 of the starting short edge, with the Rebel forces starting within 3.
Squadrons: 100pts each, Rebels need at least 1 proton torpedo or concussion missile.
Victory Condition:When a rebel ship with a proton torpedo or concussion missile leaves the board from the short edge on the opposite edge from the starting point.
The need for SPEED!: each turn, starting turn 2, all terrain moves a 3move twards the starting area. If a ship passes over a terrain piece at this time it collides with it a breakneck speed and is destroyed.
