It appears that Sands of Al-Kalim is unavailable from most online retailers. Has this expansion gone out of print and are there firm plans to reprint it?

I just checked a game site I have bought from in the past. They still have Sands in stock.

I'd definitely be interested in seeing a reprint schedule posted somewhere.

There must be a break even value for reprinting. I wonder if it'd be possible to set something up with FFG to demonstrate demand for a reprint so they'd be able to smartly queue products for reprint based on pre-orders or something. I know a few other gaming companies will work that way.

Turns out that IConUSA is out of SOAK, or at least were by the time I ordered it (their website doesn't feature real time inventory). They claim it is "out of print".

Have you noticed the Runebound page in the catalog no longer lists Midnight as a big box expansion? Bastards. Thank God I got mine....thank you Starlit Citadel! Sadly I was in an email chat with them and they told me that I purchased the last one. Couldn't believe it. Now SOAK is on back order. I have another place where I can get that too. What is with Fantasy Flight? I'm sure Isle of Dread will go out of stock soon. Reprint these games!! I know, they're hoping TFW will sell big, But ****! Keep printing these games so that those new to gaming can partake. I'm loving the RPG experience, I may even buy in to the Talisman line as well because I hear thats good too. Reprints please!

i sure hope they will reprint the stuff cause im new i just got runebound 2nd edition (im loving it! ) and i plan to get SoAK soon

I just emailed customer serivice, and asked about a SoAK reprint, their response is below.

"Al-Kalim will be back on shelves late summer/early Fall. with games such as Runebound with many expansions, we tend to rotate the reprints. We have a finite amount of warehouse space to put the stock!"

That's too long a wait. I almost paid a rediculous shipping fee in order to get a copy of the game, I am glad to know that it will be reprinted, and I will be able to get it for a reasonable price.
