100 Pt Rebel Brainstorm

Greetings fellow X wing Enthusiasts!

I hope to bring discuss list ideas regarding the boys and girls in the Rebellion. There seems to be a plethora of posts regarding the Empire and interceptors and hope to balance to force so to speak. I have been trying to figure out lists to play and would like others experiences and opinions either on those lists I present below or those of your own preference. I do not claim any of my lists to be original as I am sure many have already come to the same list conclusions as I have on how to balance 100pts. Any suggestions on which list to try first is always welcome!

I plan on running a few of these over the next week to see how they do. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. These are just put together to try and get some use of Wave 2 and Wave 1 in unison. Happy trails and may the Force be with You.

if you can find a way to squeeze in homing missles instead of concussion missles, i'd run that.. you will find that unless luck is on your side, you are going to get a lot of 0 hit missles after defense rolls; which in turn makes them worthless points when you could have used homing missles instead which usually net you 2 hits on average after defense rolls and also work great against anyone using stealth devices

unless of course most people in your area run rebel lists, then go ahead and keep the concussion missles because you should net approx 1-2 hits

you could try stealth on biggs or sheild upgrade to make him more hardy as he will be taking alot of the firepower.

I see what you guys are saying. And to upgrade to Biggs and homing missiles I will change out leaving a naked green squadrun or dropping biggs to give wedge more survivability. I am wondering if only 1 A-wing is a better setup if only rebel units werent so expensive.

this was the exact predicament I ran into for the longest time of only having 2 A-wings won from Kessel run events

it's either you run 1 A-wing or 3 or more A-wings, 2 is a terrible number for some reason and i believe it just stems to limiting your options on what else you can fly.. and if you have a naked A-wing, you're probably better off just running an X-wing or Y-wing in its place
