Dark Heresy Creature Compendium

By Redeucer, in Dark Heresy

Thanks to the generosity of a friend, I was finally able to get a look a Creatures Anathema. Then I decided it would be nice if I could look up an creature, villain, etc. in once place and know where to find it and some basic information about it. HERE is the result of these efforts.

I tried to put anything with a Stat block in here. I didn't put any information specific to the text from the particular book. This isn't intended as a replacement for the books but to help GMs find creatures they are looking for or to have basic information at their finger tips and to know where to find the creature. I included the Threat Index where it was available. The following "official" sources were used:

Dark Heresy
Inquisitor's Handbook
Disciples of the Dark Gods
Creatures Anathema
Game Master Kit
Edge of Darkness
Eternal Tide
Idyll Heresies
Scrivner's Star

Each creature is referenced to the source it came from and the page number for it to make finding it easier.

You can find the original Zipped Excel file (compatible with Open Office) and a .pdf version HERE .

Hope this is useful to some folks out there.

Redeucer,

All I have to say is absolutely wow. Once again you have managed to put together a huge resource for GM's to use. I like how you alphabetized it and included what source book has all the information you need. How much time did it take you to put this all together?

I bow down to you good sir. That is a fantastic resource. aplauso.gif

Awesome! Very well done and thank you.

It took several days to get all the information entered. I started with the CA book that was on loan and entered everything there. Then moved on to DotDG, IH, DH, then the all the adventures FFG has posted on their site. Once it was all entered, it was a simple matter to highlight and sort in alphabetical order...and voila! One GM resource!

I'm in the process of adding items from these sources into the character sheet. Things I have already added are all the Eldar, Enoulian, and Ork weapons; Verminspeaker Elite Advance, Traits, Talents, etc.; and the Psychic Powers from DotDG. If I am missing anything else, let me know. I haven't had the time to go through DotDG or CA with as much detail as I have DH and IH.

Well it seems I must cry pardon everyone. For some reason I can not explain, I forgot about Purge the Unclean. Fortunately, when my friend who loaned me CA saw the spreadsheet, he just chuckled and handed me his copy of PtU and said, "You really need to finish the job." I should have the Compendium updated with the PtU stats and out tomorrow. I will post here once it is done. Until then, feel free to leave any comments on additional lashes I should receive for forgetting PtU.

Has to be said your efforts have to be applauded, you certain make DH gaming a lot easier and more organised for the rest of us. The work you put in is much appreciated. aplauso.gif

Have you already updated your sheets with this information or do you plan on making a seperate source for these? If so, I must have already missed them and will need to update my collection of your resources. Once again, thanks for all of your hard work, as this really makes it much easier as a GM/Player to quickly scroll through most questions about characters/npc/skills/talents/creatures/ect. Aready I have been using your CC for the new campaign I am writing, and as I have most of my books scanned onto the laptop, it makes it easier for me to "flip through" the pages in finding what I need to find when sometimes that certain stat or skill is forgotten. Once the campaign starts (which will be a few months, we are still finishing two campaigns out right now), I will let you know how they went and how much smoother it went because of your resources that you have shared with us.

Yup. The character sheet has already been updated. Make sure you download the new 11e (not the 11d). HERE is a direct link to download it.
