Hi:
Is it legal to engage units (vs an objective ) that lack the "blast" icon (the icon that damages objectives)? What's the point? I just wonder if this is even possible.
Confused,
Lete
Thanks!

Yes it is possible. All the icons are only really relevant during an engagement, so if you want to attack to kill your opponents units with your unit damage and add focus tokens to them with your tactics icons you can engage their objectives in battle whether you have blast icons or not.
And if the objective becomes undefended since you use your unit damage icons to kill their defender(s) you will get the unopposed bonus still as it does not matter if you have blast icons for the unopposed bonus.
I have both won and lost games by attacking for the final damage on the final objective with units with no blast icons (via the unopposed bonus).
I've used C3-PO to blow up an objective and he has no icons at all lol.

I did the same and only because I knew he was going to be ate by the Rancor the next turn…….
Not to mention having a fate card that deals objective damage too…a great way to use strategy with the units with no icons if that's all you have ready.
