Rebel Flying Circus (sadly with no Spanish Inquisition)

By Englishpete, in X-Wing

And now for something completely different……..

So, I liked the Imp Circus, so now I give you the Rebel Circus.

It's fast, it's manuverable and it hits. Even some missile damage will leave enemies open to finishing fire.

I chose shields over stealth as it is guarenteed to stop a hit. With Push the limit, I can always defer to an evade as well.

Total Squad Points: 100

Pilot: Tycho Celchu
A-Wing (26)
Upgrades:

  • Push The Limit (3)
  • Homing Missles (5)
  • Shield Upgrade (4)

Pilot: Green Squadron Pilot 1
A-Wing (19)
Upgrades:

  • Push The Limit (3)
  • Homing Missles (5)
  • Shield Upgrade (4)

Pilot: Green Squadron Pilot 2
A-Wing (19)
Upgrades:

  • Push The Limit (3)
  • Homing Missles (5)
  • Shield Upgrade (4)

Don't count the Inquisition out. They might still show up… unexpectedly.

It's a decent list, although I worry a bit about offensive production after the missiles are away.

Yes, I'm seeing that as well, it would be a fun build to fly, but once the missiles are gone ur stuck with 2 att the rest of the game.

just like Ties!

Looks fun, a very skill-intensive build to play with though as after you let loose the missiles you'll really want to be at range 1 all of the time.

The manuverability can keep me in range 1 fairly simply. It's survivability that I am more worried about. That's going to take some doing as staying out of fire arcs will be a fun pass time.

I think asteroids will be my friend….
