Just thought I'd share this.

I was about to buy a custom made playing mat, when I remembered I had a Laser Stars Projector sitting unused in my cupboard.

It really immerses you in the game.

Well, we were using one of these ; which now that I look at it, are bloody expensive… I got mine for my birthday a few years ago - but I think they only paid about £60 for it.

It was sitting completely unused, but now I think I'll use it every time I play this game - even if I end up buying a star-print map aswell.

I wonder if the cheaper Star Projectors (I'm sure you can pick up a really cheap one for about £10) would work as well?

I've got a GF9 star mat on order through the LGS, it was 40 dollars and is conveniently a 3'x3' playing area which was really all it needed to sell me on it.
