Hello all,

I've been searching for a low cost, no craftsmanship necessary, solution for holding my ever-growing stack of adventure cards. I came across these acrylic boxes (originally designed to hold sweetener packets).

These are made by USAcrylic, but I actually found and bought them from Amazon for next to nothing. Let me know what you think. Any better solutions out there? I've seen QRal's work, and those are certainly very sharp looking, but not as easy to get your hands on.

These look great! Did you go with the one size or did you get both?

Thank you. I went with the larger of the two sizes. It measures 8.5"L x 5.5"W x 3.5"H. One rack holds almost all of my adventure cards (base game, Reaper, Dungeon, Frost March, and Sacred Pool). A simple divider helps me track our progression through the deck, and lets us know when we need to shuffle.

I use the second rack with dividers to hold Dungeon cards and spell cards.

This looks really good, can you please share the amazon link to where you bought it? I found several on amazon but none mentioned the size.

Also, where did you get that black tray to place all other cards on? Like the alignment cards and purschase deck.

Lastly, here is the business card rack that you saw in my photo. I has worked very nicely for us in handling the small stacks of cards (purchase deck, stables deck, alignment cards,…). It is made by deflect-o:

Did they change the Adventure card size in the revised 4th Edition? I'm still playing 4th Edition plain Jane.

I think it was a pack of 3 for only $1. I like them, they work well. One rack holds my entire Adventure deck, tho I only use 1/3 of Blood Moon, and with the last expansion, its now almost full. I also sleeve my cards.

I bought it at Biltema, a swedish version of Walmart, for 99 Swedish crowns (around 13 USD, 11 EUR). It's originally made for storing screws, bolts, bricks etc. The cards fit perfectly in the boxes, and you can easily fit all dungeon cards and the adventure cards from the dungeon expansion in one box (to give you an idea of the size). The are nine boxes on each side and I have all cards on one side and all tokens on the other side. The boxes are easily removed from the black storage part and can be moved individually so I keep all tokens in the boxes when we play. although I've to remove cards and place them in piles on the table. I know that the picture ain't very good but if you're interested I can provide pictures when we have our next session.

Anyway, I have my game stored away in one big box (boards and rule books), 3 small boxes (1 for large cards; characters, quests, frog, reaper card etc, 1 for character minis and 1 for painted minis) and of course this storage box. Works perfectly and is easily transported.

It never occured to me to use sweetener holders to keep talisman cards (and I was using those at work for years). As with many great discoveries it's obvious only after someone thought about it first

I searched the internet for a long while looking at possible options and also considered a craft project to make my own. I happened to find an old golf ball rack that I used to use to display my logo golf balls that hangs on the wall. It is six by six and works perfect. I have every expansion and the only stack i need to double up so far are the alignment cards and talismans. I put the cards in vertically and most stacks lean back so you can see all deck faces at a glance. You can buys these for about 15 dollars, made out of wood and are about the same size as the large talisman boxes.

I've wanted to find a card shoe (a plastic or wooden device that dispenses one card at a time) that fits Talisman cards for years, with no luck. They all seem to be made for playing cards of the standard casino size. If anyone knows where to find such a thing, let me know.

Personally I think FFG should make something like that to fit their cards. As well as a 6 to 8 deck electronic shuffler made to fit the smaller sized cards. They'd make a killing

I stumbled upon the Dragon Shield Four Compartment Gaming Box at my FLGS. 3 of these should be able to handle the Main game and all the expansions with card sleeves on them. I think with 3 this should be able to handle the woodlands expansion when it comes out.

I think this one would be the most elegant solution for both storage and use while playing.

That 1st storage option is interesting. Let me know if that works.

The 2nd one I took a pass on because it looks to me like the lid will not clear the tops of the cards. I have not tested it personally, just my opinion from comparing one of those tea packets to a card.

The 3rd option is my favorite. I had considered this one myself (see my 14 March 2013 posting above). Again, I have not tested to see if the cards actually fit. If it does, that would be a very elegant solution to drawing cards.

It may work great, but it doesn't really look great. I'm ok with dropping some extra cash for aesthetics.

Found another Dollar Tree item for Talisman. This is great for holding small decks. You get 2 for $1.00

This is the Woodland deck sleeved.

What I decided to do is use these to hold my Dollar Tree dice:

You will notice there is Red for Strength, Blue for Craft, Yellow for Gold, Green for Life, Black and White for Fate. I bought about ten packs and am set for Talisman. I am now putting these dice in the containers shown above, and when game set up happens I dump the dice elsewhere (if not used) and then use the containers to hold my small decks (Highland, Dungeon, City Adventure Deck, Woodland, and I think this even hold my sleeved spell deck).
