If a Mignon player's opponent goes first, do you get momentum from her floating text?

ex. Player A is playing Mignon, Player B is playing Ninon, Player B takes the first turn, will Player A get the momentum?

Yes

how about for Talbain? if you go first do you get a moon token?

Yes. You did not start with a moon token. So you get one at the start of your turn.

Notice that the draw phase happens BEFORE your combat phase. So 9HS moon token talbain would not draw to 9 first turn.

notice that on the very first turn, there is no ready step ( which include ready, discard, redraw ).

Before the start of the game, every player draw up to their printed hand size, roll to see who goes first, decide and THEN the first player commit his character and his combat phase start immediately.

No ready step for him... that's why you don't have any effect which happen in the ready step active in the first turn, including the discard one card to draw one new. The very reason Galford2 doesn't get his 9 cards on the first turn even if he's comitted at the beginning of the game.

Well... that and you draw up to your "PRINTED" hand size.
