Will there be a discount to the base book for individuals that purchased the EoTE beta book?

Nope. They have never said they would do this and I don"t expect them to. And honestly I don't see why they would. It was entirely our choice to buy the beta and I have no regrets what with the Core book coming out.
That said, if you pre-order the book through certain online retailers, you can get it for about 30% off.

I preordered mine of off Miniature Market. They are selling it for a little under $40. http://www.miniaturemarket.com/ffgswe02.html I don't know if they are the cheapest but they are cheaper than a lot of other stores I've looked at and they have great customer serivce.

Seconded. I buy from them locally, and the people that work there are great. They also have significant discounts on other FFG Star Wars products, like the dice and the game master's kit.
I just pre-ordered mine today. some of the truck lines stop off at my company before miniature market gets their shipment as I do see some skids marked for miniature market. I could know when they will get their shipment of stuff and so now I am starting my savings program now so I will have the money for all three items when it comes in. As I see alot of good conversions already started just from the Beta book which look very promising.
I know there's no official program through FFG to give a discount on the core rulebook to EotE Beta purchasers, but some local game stores might do it. I was perusing a local store recently, (not Miniature Market) and they mentioned that if I brought back the Beta book after the final copy had been released, they would work out a discount on the core book.
Now, they didn't give specifics on the discount, and I doubt every local game store will do that, but it's worth asking, at least.

While I'm not sure of the value of the beta book after the Core's release, you may want to be wary of that. The beta book could become a somewhat collecter's item and your retailer may be able to make some bank back from those books returned. Just a thought.

I don't plan on actually doing it. Like I said, I've already preordered mine from Miniature Market at a better price than I would likely to be able to get from this retailer, even with a discount. I was just trying to let Salcor know there might be other options out there.
