I just started playing X-Wing with my wife a few days ago. I am looking for other players in our area. We would love to find a more experienced player to help teach us and find a regular playgroup. We would also like to try tournaments at some point.

Hello there. There are at least four other players in the area that I know of. I'll be up at Mega Gaming and Comics this Saturday afternoon around 1 to run demos or play, if we can find space. The local forums are http://forums.gvillegaming.org/ There is no regular meet up yet, though there are a few players interested in forming one if we can get more organized. I have eight felt play mats for when we decide to host a tournament one Sunday afternoon.

Weekends work best for me and Sundays at Mega have more room to play than Saturdays. There is a lot of card games and 40K going on Saturdays.

I can definately make it up to Mega on Saturday. All my stuff I ordered should be in tomorrow, so I can build some teams.
