*Fio*

By Theo7, in UFS Rules Q & A

Fio says, F Commit: Until the end of the turn, whenever you add 1 or more cards to your momentum, your opponent adds 1 card from their hand to their momentum. If your opponent has no cards in hand after that, they may add all te cards in their momentum to their hand.

Military combat arts says- E Commit, add 1 card from your hand to your momentum: each player adds 1 card from their hand to their momentum.

Also KOF 2006 says- E Commit: Either each player adds 1 card from their ahnd to their momentum or each player discards 1 of their momentume (your choice)

Now if i form with fio and then use military combat arts when they have 2 cards in hand what happens? lets lay it out:
Fio Form, play attack, E with MCA, as a cost i put one card into my momentum from my hand triggering fio therefore they add one card into their momenum from their hand, then the effect of MCA kicks in making u both add a card from our hands to our momentum, now my opponent has just lost their last card to the effect of MCA not fio but seeing as i added one card in at the same time fio triggers, now does my oppoents get their momentum back or not because their last card went in because of MCA NOT fio.

Same situation with KOF 2006 but when my opponent has 1 card in hand.

To put it simply, if my opponent has no cards in hand and i gain momentum does fio still make them take back their momentume even though they didt add one in?

at the moment i am playing it that they dot and no one in the metat has argued but seeing as im taking fio to a tourny soon i thought id get a ruling first.

Hope u can help!

Theo

yes, this is the basics of the fio decks.

they have to gain a momentum with fios effect to get their momentum back

KoF2006 will let you put their last card in without them getting their hand back and MCA will do it with 2

they have no hand so you start to wail on them till death

ok thanks mate! i thought thats the way she worked.
No stamps tho?
sorry to be fussy but im leaving for the tourny on friday so i would like to have an official confirmation before i leave so i dont have to call a judge over every time someone questions it, also depending on which way the ruling swings can make me need to edit my deck, which of course i will need time for, any stamps appreciated gran_risa.gif !

Yup, that all works far as I can see
