Just saw the FFG post about the discoloration of the alternate art cards. Wish this could have been avoided, but in the end a minor thing. I appreciate the heads up. Very nice and timely communication.

Before what? Did you already order one? As far as I can tell, they still aren't available.
I'll take any copies of alt-art Valars I can get, especially if it means not having to buy a whole Core set for that one card, or pay Team Covenant $9 for one copy.

They are definitely available, we started using them as prizes this week, I think our shop received the League Kits for every LCG sometime last week. And yea, regardless of what art is on the card I think we're all just happy to have more copies of Valar.
I'm kind of surprised that they needed to make an announcement though, I was under the impression that opaque sleeves were already required at events. Guess not, tourney rules just say sleeves are required to protect against "acusations [sic] of marking or manipulating decks by the size of their cards"
